Facial Scar Revision & Removal of Lesions

There are times when patients have received care for facial injuries and have an unsatisfactory esthetic result. This can result from many causes including delay in treatment, infection, loss of tissue at the time of injury, and hypertrophic (keloid) scarring. Many scars show improvement over time or with topical and/or injected medications. Sometimes scars may require surgical revision to improve the esthetic result. Dr. Hughes, Dr. Clark and Dr. Capp will discuss different treatment options and recommend any indicated treatment.

Moles, blemishes, and nevi on the skin of the face can represent either benign lesions or potential pathologic conditions. It is important to have these lesions assessed on a regular basis. We can evaluate these lesions and can recommend biopsy and treatment of these as necessary.
